Our team carefully builds up ultra-thin layers of advanced lime- or acrylic-based plaster, hand-burnishing each coat with a steel trowel until it develops a smooth, marble-like surface with stunning depth and natural movement.

Venetian plaster isn’t simply painted onto a wall. It’s a multi-step decorative finish built up in thin, hand-applied layers, and the quality of the final surface starts with what’s underneath. Existing drywall may require texture removal, repairs, or skim coating to create a smooth Level 5 surface, while new construction can be prepared to Level 5 from the start.
Once the substrate is ready, we apply the appropriate specialty primer or bonding coat, followed by multiple hand-troweled and burnished coats of Venetian plaster to build the desired depth, movement, and sheen. The surface is then completed with the appropriate protective sealer or wax. The exact application system and number of coats depend on the existing surface, selected finish, and project conditions, and are confirmed during the on-site estimate.
