This policy explains what information Fresh Start Renovations LLC collects when you visit freshstartbayarea.com, call or text us, or request an estimate — and how we use it. Short version: we use your information to answer your request and do the job. We don’t sell it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our estimate form, call, text or email us, we receive what you choose to share: your name, phone number, email address, city, the type of project, a description of the work, and any photos you attach.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and the services we use receive standard technical data: browser and device type, pages you view, how you scroll and click, the website or ad that brought you here, and an approximate location based on your IP address (city level, not your street address).
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare an estimate and schedule the work.
- To contact you about your project by phone, text or email.
- To keep records of the work we did for you.
- To understand how visitors use the site and fix what doesn’t work.
- To measure which of our ads bring in real requests.
3. Photos you send us
Photos you send us are used only to understand the job and price it — we don’t publish them. We may photograph our own finished work (walls, ceilings, finishes) for our portfolio and social media. We don’t show addresses, faces or personal belongings, and we’ll remove any photo on request.
4. Calls and text messages
If you call or text (831) 618-2026, we use your number to reply about your project. We don’t send marketing text messages, and we don’t share your phone number with anyone for their marketing. If you’d like us to stop texting you, reply STOP or just tell us. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
5. Analytics, ads and other services
We use a few trusted services to run the site. Each has its own privacy policy:
Google Analytics. Shows how many people visit and which pages they read. Opt out: Google Analytics opt-out.
Google Ads. Tells us when someone who clicked our ad calls or sends a request. Google may also add your browser to an audience list that could be used to show you our ads later. Manage or turn off personalized ads: Google Ad Settings.
Microsoft Clarity. Records how visitors scroll and click so we can improve the pages. By default it masks what you type into form fields. Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Trustindex. Displays our Google, Yelp and Thumbtack reviews on the site.
Website hosting. The site and form submissions are stored with our hosting provider, WP Engine.
6. Cookies and Do Not Track
The services above use cookies and similar technology. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for it yet, so our site does not currently respond to it — use your browser’s cookie settings or the opt-out links above instead.
7. When we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with the service providers listed above, so they can do their part;
- when the law requires it;
- with your permission — for example, if you ask us to talk to your insurance company or property manager about the job.
8. How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep your contact details and project information for as long as we need them to do the work and keep business records, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email is 100% secure.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email sergei@freshstartbayarea.com or call (831) 618-2026, and we’ll take care of it. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
10. Children, changes and contact
Children. This site is for homeowners and property owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes. If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
