Microcement is a highly versatile decorative coating — just 2 to 3 millimeters thick — that can be applied directly over almost any solid surface. It bonds perfectly to existing tile, drywall, plaster, marble, or concrete, allowing you to create seamless finishes on floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture. As long as your existing surface is stable and damage-free, there is no demolition and no heavy remodel mess. It comes in a wide range of colors and custom textures.
Microcement is built up in thin layers over your existing surface. The exact build-up depends on where it’s going — floors, walls, and wet areas each need a slightly different system.

Once your deposit is received, we order the project materials and prepare a custom sample panel. This allows you to approve the exact color and texture before work begins.
Your existing tile, concrete, or drywall surface is cleaned, repaired, and primed so the microcement bonds perfectly.
Base layers of microcement are applied to establish the solid foundation of your new surface.
Multiple layers of microcement are applied to build the exact pattern and texture of your approved sample.
The surface is protected with multiple coats of sealer for maximum durability, then inspected with you along with detailed care instructions.

Microcement is applied in several thin layers with curing time between each, so it takes longer than a standard resurfacing or paint job. That time is part of what gives the finish its strength and smooth look, and we’ll walk you through the full timeline before starting.
Usually not — microcement can go over existing tile, drywall or concrete. But the surface has to be solid, flat and smooth first. Grout lines are filled and leveled with a base coat, and textured walls (orange peel, knockdown) are skim coated smooth before any microcement goes on. Prep is always the first step, and it is included in your estimate.
