Garage Conversion in Santa Clara

An unfinished garage was transformed into a clean, functional space with smooth walls and ceilings, ready for primer, paint, and everyday use.

Custom Non-Load-Bearing Partition Wall Extension & Seamless Texture Matching

The extended wall was framed to match the room's original ceiling height, then taped and textured to blend seamlessly with the existing surface — no visible seam where old meets new.

CUSTOM PARTITION WALL EXTENSION in San Jose

Project Overview

For this residential remodeling project, we extended an existing non-load-bearing half-wall to the ceiling to create a fully enclosed, private space while maintaining the home’s original architectural feel. The project included precision framing, acoustic insulation for added privacy and noise reduction, and professional drywall installation with clean architectural lines. The new surface was carefully finished and matched to the existing wall texture, creating a seamless transition that looks like part of the original build.

We’d give 10 stars if we could! Sergei is trustworthy, reliable, methodical, efficient, and highly skilled. We had saved up a bunch of dissimilar drywall repair projects so that we could tackle them at once. Sergei clearly explained what was necessary for each project, prioritized the work, and got everything done with great results. He didn’t compromise the quality of the job by rushing through the steps. He kept our house as reasonably clean as you can keep a house when having drywall work done.

FAQ

What people usually ask

How do you determine when drywall is finished?

We follow the industry guidelines established in GA-214 (Gypsum Association) for Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes. Final surfaces are evaluated under normal lighting conditions after the compound has fully cured and the walls are ready for primer or paint.

Like all professional drywall contractors, we do not evaluate finishes using harsh side lighting, flashlights, or lights held directly against the wall. Extreme lighting can highlight minor surface variations that are not visible under normal everyday conditions and are not considered installation defects under industry standards.

If you have specific lighting conditions or premium finish requirements, we’re happy to discuss the appropriate finish level before work begins.
