The channel is framed into the ceiling first — once the LED strip is set and the drywall is finished, only the light line remains visible.
The recessed channel is drywalled in and finished flush, so the profile disappears until the LED strip is switched on.
A trimless LED channel has to be planned before the drywall goes up — the recess, wiring path, and diffuser all need to line up exactly, or the light line reads crooked instead of crisp. We build the channel into the installation itself, not as an add-on after the wall is finished.

We follow the industry guidelines established in GA-214 (Gypsum Association) for Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes. Final surfaces are evaluated under normal lighting conditions after the compound has fully cured and the walls are ready for primer or paint.
Like all professional drywall contractors, we do not evaluate finishes using harsh side lighting, flashlights, or lights held directly against the wall. Extreme lighting can highlight minor surface variations that are not visible under normal everyday conditions and are not considered installation defects under industry standards.

Yes — it works in an existing room too, not just new construction. We open the ceiling or wall along the channel path, frame the recess, and finish it flush around the LED strip.
